European Haemophilia Surveillance System

Since the contamination with HIV, the community of the haemophilia patients became strongly aware of the fragile treatment patients are submitted. Surveillance of the medical system is needed. In the frame of the European Directive of Health Consumers, and DG Sanco, EHC established a programme of surveillance: European Haemophilia Surveillance System. They collect adverse events into a database to establish an alarm system to the community of haemophilia patients, medical practicians and European governmental health institutes.
