The European Haemophilia Consortium (EHC) held its 2017 Conference on 6-8 October in Vilnius, Lithuania. As one of the largest gatherings of patients with haemophilia and other rare bleeding disorders in Europe, the event brought together over 300 participants, including health care professionals, researchers, and representatives of the pharmaceutical industry. The programme included scientific lectures, debates and symposia that covered a wide range of topics – the state of haemophilia treatment and care in Lithuania and the Baltics, novel products, gene therapy, pharmacovigilence, orthopaedic issues, inhibitor management and more. The full agenda of the event can be viewed on the EHC Conference website; presentations will also be available there shortly.

An article that brings the highlights of the conference can be found in the EHC December 2017 Newsletter, available here.

Pictures from the event are available on the EHC Facebook page.

The 2018 EHC Conference will take place from October 5-7, 2018 in Brussels, Belgium. Full details will follow soon.
