The 6th EHC Round Round Table entitled “Health Technology Assessment (HTA) & cost effectiveness of Haemophilia treatment in a recession environment” took place on 18 March 2009 in Brussels.
It gave clinicians, policy makers, patient representatives and the pharmaceutical industry the opportunity to address the issue of cost effectiveness of Haemophilia treatment in relation to the Health Technology Assessment method and in particular the criteria for ensuring objective and non counterproductive HTAs.
During the meeting all parties were invited to draw attention to their own vision on the topic, thus offering ideas for comprehensive Health Technology Assessment methods.
