A focal point of the EHC is communication. To improve and strengthen our internal as well as our external communication we:
- have issued a leaflet on the work of the EHC
- have set up this web site
- carry out regular surveys among member organisations
- issue a quarterly EHC Newsletter
- support the establishment of e-mail connections for all European NMOs
The EHC holds one conference annually.

Major themes at these conferences are current trends and developments within the treatment of haemophilia, safety and supply of haemophilia products, and regulatory affairs.
The target group of EHC conferences includes all EHC member organisations and other parties interested, such as other patient organisations, representatives of EU institutions, medical doctors and nurses within haemophilia, and pharmaceutical companies. The business meeting is only for EHC members.
The 2008 Annual EHC Conference took place in Dublin on 12-14 September 2008.
European Parliament Event (2006):
On 12 January 2006, the EHC together with Dr. Miroslav Mikolasik, Member of the European Parliament, organized an event in the European Parliament launching the results of an EHC Survey carried out in 2005. The results were presented in the report "Haemophilia - Awareness and Disparity of Care within the EU".

European Principles of Care: Official launch in the European Parliament (2009)
The EHC, jointly with EAHAD, will launch the European Principles of Haemophilia Care in the European Parliament in Brussels on 27 January 2009, between 15.00 and 17.30.
