EUROPEAN HAEMOPHILIA CONSORTIUM
EHC Annual Meeting 2010

Dates and venue of the EHC Annual Conference 2010 are now decided! We will all meet in Lisbon on October 22-24 at the Hotel Altis, Lisbon.

WELCOME TO THE EHC

The European Haemophilia Consortium (EHC) is a European patient group representing national member organisations from 43 countries in Europe including members in all 26 EU Member States and the 2 candidate countries Croatia and Turkey.

The EHC is working to reduce the burden of the disease on both the individual and on society. Its mission is to improve the quality of life of people with Haemophilia in Europe.

To this end the EHC engages in outreach and communication activities with policy makers, the medical profession, fellow patients and the public at large with a view to provide expertise and knowledge on how to live with the disease. In doing so the EHC in 2006 initiated an EU Advocacy Programme focussing especially on EU stakeholders and building the right platforms to communicate with them. Such platforms include the EHC's new website which was launched on World Haemophilia Day this year, 17 April 2007, as well as the introduction of EHC Round Table of Stakeholders to discuss topical issues concerning the EHC.

The EHC is grateful for the support it receives for the above activities from sponsors and other partners.

For organisations, associations, and other stakeholders interested in being or becoming a supporting partner, the EHC has in place a Policy on Financial Support and a Code of Conduct for the Round Tables. For more information on these and requests by interested parties, please email: info@ehc.eu
