Hoffman-La Roche buys rights to danoprevir from InterMune

Hoffman-La Roche paid InterMune $175 million for rights to develop and market danoprevir, a drug for hepatitis C. The companies, which had been working on the drug since October 2006, said they are exploring options to continue their collaborative research on other hepatitis C treatments.
