The European Haemophilia Consortium (EHC) is delighted to welcome Ms Kristine Jansone to its team as Inhibitor Progamme Officer.

A Latvian national, Ms Jansone has led, for the past six years, the work of the Ecumenical Youth Council in Europe (EYCE), a Brussels-based Christian youth network working towards bringing together young christians from different denominations to overcome issues such as nationalism, xenophobia, social exclusion and proselytism. The sole employee of EYCE, Ms Jansone was led to work independently and has gained much experience in managing multiple projects including the organisation of events, youth trainings, multi-annual campaigns as well as communication projects. Ms Jansone has a background in education, communication and marketing.

Ms Jansone is also an active volunteer and she has contributed to the work of various ecumenical youth associations. At present, Ms Janson is the Chairperson of one of these associations. She has been in this position for over ten years. In addition to Latvian, Ms Jansone also speaks English and Russian as well as some French and Swedish.

Ms Jansone will be based in the EHC Brussels office and will lead a programme to support the needs of people with bleeding disorders and inhibitors.

The EHC wishes Mr Jansone a warm welcome and a successful start in her new position.
