The European Haemophilia Consortium (EHC) will hold its webinar on New Technologies for Haemophilia and other Rare Bleeding Disorders virtually over four dates in November (10-12-17-19). The workshop will be held in English. Registrations are only open to EHC members.

- Updates on novel replacement therapies,
- Discussions on efficacy, inhibitor development, safety issues and post-marketing surveillance
Thursday 12 November – 18.00-20.00 hrs
In this session we will look at:
- Review of novel non-replacement therapies,
- Discussions on safety, efficacy, thrombotic event reporting and use of NRT in rare bleeding disorders,
- Review of the use of NRT in surgery and other special cases.
Tuesday 17 November – 18.00-20.00 hrs
In this session we will cover:
- Review of updates in gene therapy,
- Experience with adenoviruses,
- Experience with lentiviruses and genetic editing,
- The future of gene therapy and gene editing.
Thursday 19 November – 18.00 to 20.00 hrs CET
In this session, we will talk about:
- Hub and spoke model for the delivery of haemophilia care,
- Financial assessment of haemophilia therapies,
- Shared decision-making.
