Each year, the haemophilia and rare bleeding disorders community worldwide marks World Haemophilia Day on 17 April. This commemoration is an opportunity to raise awareness about the needs of those affected by rare bleeding disorders. This year’s theme, Access for All, our world haemophilia celebration, will focus on groups within our community that have traditionally received less attention and are often struggling to get recognition and adequate access to treatment and care. These groups are people with inhibitors, women with bleeding disorders, people with rare bleeding disorders (rare within rare), people with Von Willebrand Disease and people with mild bleeding disorders. To this end, every day from 17 to 22 April 2022, the EHC will release an educational video tackling one of the aforementioned topics.
