The EHC is pleased to announce that the annual Leadership Conference 2026 will take place at the NOVOTEL Brussels City Centre, in Brussels, Belgium, from Friday, 12 June until Sunday, 14 June 2026.
The EHC Leadership Conference aims to give EHC National Member Organisations (NMOs) dedicated time to discuss key issues affecting them and the bleeding disorders community. It also fosters knowledge-sharing, allowing participants to learn from each other’s strengths, experiences, and best practices. To ensure meaningful engagement, the programme will feature interactive and hands-on activities where appropriate.
The event will be conducted in English. Simultaneous interpretation in Russian will be provided, subject to participants’ needs.
We kindly invite you to nominate up to two (2) representatives per NMO, preferably from the following profiles:
- One senior NMO leader (e.g., President, Vice-President, etc.);
- One young NMO leader (up to 30 years old) who is actively engaged in your NMO (e.g., through a youth group). Suitable candidates may include past or prospective nominees for the EHC Youth Leadership Workshop, or other young representatives within your NMO;
- One paid staff member (e.g., CEO, Director, Communications or Programmes Manager, etc.);
OR - Any other individual whom the NMO considers would benefit from the Leadership Conference, based on the programme.
The EHC understands that these profiles may not apply to every NMO, and so each organisation is best placed to decide which representatives would benefit most from attending — and ultimately carry that value back to their teams. When selecting your delegates for the Leadership Conference, please bear in mind that voting will take place during the EHC General Assembly. Please note that the General Assembly will be held on Friday, 12 June from 15:30 to 18:00 CET.
Please also note that the Leadership Conference has a capacity limit of 80 participants, with places confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis.
#ThisWay Walk — Friday, 12 June, 18:00-19:00
As part of the Leadership Conference programme, we warmly invite participants to take part in the #ThisWay Walk on Friday, 12 June. This activity offers a fun and interactive way to explore the city of Brussels, encouraging participants to step outside the conference room and engage with one another in a more informal setting.
Participants will have access to a digital city map highlighting key landmarks across Brussels, including a specially featured location. The map will be accessible via a QR code, which will be shared during the Leadership Conference through an on-screen slide. Whether you are a first-time visitor to Brussels or a familiar face in the city, the #ThisWay Walk is a great opportunity to discover new places while connecting with fellow participants.
Poster Networking Session — Saturday, 13 June, 17:00–18:00
The Leadership Conference is your space to share, connect, and learn — and what better way to do so than by showcasing the incredible work happening across our NMO community. We are pleased to once again offer NMOs the opportunity to present their work during our Poster Networking Session, taking place on Saturday, 13 June, from 17:00 to 18:00.
This session provides a dedicated platform for NMOs to highlight an event, activity, or project they are currently undertaking or have successfully delivered. It is an opportunity not only to share your organisation’s achievements, but also to inspire other NMOs and explore how similar initiatives could be adapted within different national contexts.
Participation in the poster session is entirely voluntary; however, we would be delighted to showcase the excellent work being carried out at the national level. The poster template has been shared directly with EHC NMOs. Completed posters should be submitted to Stefan Radovanović at [email protected] by Monday, 25 May 2026. All final posters will be printed by the EHC and displayed throughout the session.
