The EHC is pleased to co-organise this session, part of ERN-EuroBloodNet’s Thursday Webinar series, together with ERN-EuroBloodNet and the European Association for Haemophilia and Allied Disorders (EAHAD), bringing new insights on von Willebrand disease (VWD) to our community of patients, health professionals, and patient organisations.
The session will be delivered by Dr Omid Seidizadeh, Research Leader at the Angelo Bianchi Bonomi Hemophilia and Thrombosis Center in Milan and Chair of the EAHAD Working Group on VWD. Drawing on large-scale population genomic data, including resources such as gnomAD, Dr Seidizadeh will present an updated picture of the global prevalence and ethnic diversity of VWD, offering a fresh perspective on how genetic architecture shapes diagnosis and clinical understanding of the condition worldwide.
This webinar is a valuable opportunity for our community to engage directly with the latest research shaping the future of VWD diagnosis and care.
