On World Mental Health Day, the EHC releases the Executive Summary of its Round Table on Addressing Mental Health in the Bleeding Disorders Community, emphasising the urgent need to support the psychological well-being of those affected by bleeding disorders.

The EHC marks World Geriatric Day 2025 with the launch of “Living Well, Ageing Well”, a new comprehensive one-year project addressing all aspects of ageing with a bleeding disorder. This timely initiative brings together leading experts, patients, and caregivers.

On 23 September 2025, the EHC hosted the round table on “Beyond the Diagnosis: Addressing Mental Health in the Bleeding Disorders Community” at the Warwick Hotel in Brussels, Belgium, bringing together healthcare professionals, policy makers, and community advocates.

EHC is calling on the European Medicines Agency to include von Willebrand Factor in the Union List of Critical Medicines, highlighting the urgent need to protect patients with von Willebrand Disease.
