Meet Stéphanie Maya Bravo, EHC Administration Officer

We are delighted to introduce you to our latest EHC addition, Stéphanie Maya Bravo, who joined us in October 2024 as Administration Officer.
Can you tell us more about yourself?
I grew up in Brussels where I got a Bachelor’s degree in social work. Before joining the EHC, I worked for ten years in a Belgian organisation supporting homeless women in a shelter. Thanks to my experience on the ground, I acquired excellent organisational skills and in-depth understanding of Belgian organisations. I speak French and English, and I’m currently learning Spanish.
What attracted you to join the EHC?
I wanted to work for an organisation sharing values that are important to me: empathy, solidarity and justice. Also, I was attracted by the EHC’s work because I really care about people’s health and I think everyone should have access to the medical treatments.
What are your main priorities at the EHC?
One of my main priorities is being in charge of the administrative tasks. Another priority is making sure that the staff members have everything they need at the office. I will closely work with Rumana and be providing some support in her daily activities.
What do you enjoy doing outside work in your free time?
During my free time, I like singing, drawing, travelling and spending time with my friends and family.
