The Hungarian NMO recently welcomed a new President, Mrs Ildiko Kaslik, who follows Mr Zoltan Keszthelyi. Please welcome Mrs Kaslik to her new role and the European Bleeding Disorders Community.

Ildiko describes herself as a “corporate finance professional, coffee addict, business coach, and now the president of the Hungarian Haemophilia Society.”

Ildiko tells us that “As a mother of a two-year-old boy with severe haemophilia A with inhibitors, it’s hard for me to express how grateful I am to take over the Hungarian NMO and continue that journey that the previous president, my mentor, and maybe I can say that my friend, Zoltán Keszthelyi started eight years ago.”

Now we have a stable, transparent society with a strong core community, but still, a lot to do to make life easier for those living with bleeding disorders in Hungary – and around the globe.

My main priorities for the upcoming four years are engaging and activating members, bringing a more holistic view into care in general and further education.

I promise to give the bleeding disorder community my (almost) endless energy, motivation and commitment.”
